Blank Bass Tab Paper

What it is

Blank bass tablature paper with four-line staves for 4-string bass: G string at the top, low E at the bottom.

How to use it

• Print at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter.
• Write the fret number on the line of the string. 0 is the open string.
• Add rhythm above the tab with simple counts (1 & 2 &) or note stems, since tab alone does not show rhythm.

Ideas

• Write down bass lines you create over the progression player.
• Notate your own versions of the root–fifth and octave patterns in different keys.
• Write walking lines for ii–V–I, then compare with the walking bass exercise.
