Staff + Tab Paper

What it is

Combined guitar manuscript paper: each system has a treble-clef staff with a six-line tab staff below it. The staff shows pitch and rhythm, the tab shows where to play each note.

How to use it

• Print at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter.
• Write the notes and rhythm on the staff first, then add the fret numbers directly underneath.
• Guitar music sounds an octave lower than written; write it the standard way, with a treble clef.

• Transcribe your own riffs and solos with exact rhythms.
• Use it to learn to read standard notation: write the tab you know, then work out the notes above it.
• Write out scale positions and arpeggios with both note names and frets.
